Michael Edgar Myers
FOUNDING DIRECTOR

​Michael is a Chicago-based actor, theater director, playwright and pastor.  Also an audiobook narrator and educator, Michael  is a member of AATH (Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor),  is an ensemble member of the radio program  “Unshackled,”   served as associate pastor at Elk Grove Baptist Church in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. He blogs about church communication and reflections on worship, and is an affiliated speaker with  Worship Collective.

Vikki J. Myers
WORSHIP LEADER

​​Vikki, a Chicago-based actress and vocalist, is co-founder of KIT Ministries.  She has appeared in numerous plays and musicals in regional theatres across the U.S. A songwriter and recording artist, Vikki 's music may be heard on Spotify, itunes  and Reverbnation. She and  has sung for organizations such as Converge, Moms in Touch International, and the SPC Orchestra of Southeast Asia. Vikki also narrates educational videos and coordinates video production.

Garlan Garner
MUSIC DIRECTOR

Garlan is a Chicago-based musician and arranger. He has played for contemporary Christian and Gospel artists such as Martha Munizzi and Rosanne Rosario and in venues like Chicago’s Apollo Theatre. He serves as a keyboardist for Bellevue Baptist Church,  Chicago, IL and has been part of Kingdom Impact Theatre Ministries for more than 10 years improving music and serving as our sound engineer.

Carla Brown

​VOCALS

Carla is an actress, vocalist and bilingual educator based in Plano, Texas.  She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a proponent of Vacation Bible School and bi-lingual ministry.

Marissa Brown

VOCALS

The next generation of KIT, Marissa is worship leader at New Life Community Church in Brookfield, IL, while pursuing her degree in music and worship at Moody Bible Institute.  She is also skilled at using social media as a gospel tool, and has appreciation for Hamiltons and "Hamilton."​

Michelle ​Perez-Campbell

VOCALS

Michelle is an actress, vocalist and worship leader with experience in choral directing and performance.  She has provided coaching and directing for youth-based worship teams from her home in Glendale Heights, IL.​

Otrie Barrett Jr.

REEDS, VOCALS

​ Otrie brings unique musical and theological insight to KIT from his years studying and playing jazz, serving in the U.S. Army Fife and Drum Corps, and using these music gifts in houses of worship in the U.S. and abroad.

Tim Bourne

​BASS

A versatile musician, Tim is a former rock-band bass player who is now a songwriter, arranger and instructor.  In addition to bass, Tim plays woodwinds,  teaches music and resides in suburban Chicago.  

Kurt Nelsen

PERCUSSION

Kurt is a guitarist and percussionist who holds a BA in Music Education from Trinity  International University.  Early in his ministry career, Kurt toured with “The Nelsen Brothers” spreading the Gospel through music, sketch comedy and personal testimony.
