The Musicians

"...The whole assembly bowed in worship, while the musicians played and the trumpets sounded..."
-- Second Chronicles of the Old Testament,  Chapter 2, Verse 29

Leaders of Worship: In Music, In Word

The musicians associated with Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries are more than instrumentalists and accompanists.  They are masters of their craft, teachers of their instruments, and students of The Word.

Professionally, KIT Ministries musicians are independent contractors who share their talents with Kingdom Impact Theater as requested.

Although many musicians on our roster have performed or may perform in non-church venues, each  contributor understands the nuances and responsibilities of leading music in a Christ-following Service of Worship.

Instrumentalists who  play with Kingdom Impact Theater may be available for solo or band support for wherever music is requested: Services of Worship, concerts, memorials, conferences, luncheons, etc.

However, these connections must be negotiated and resolved with each individual, and not as a representative of KIT Ministries.

Musicians Networking

Because of our relationship with churches, ministries, schools and professional theaters, Kingdom Impact Theater can serve as a connection between churches in need of musicians, particularly in the metro Chicago community.

Further, because we are a staff department of Artists in Christian Testimony Intl., KIT Ministries can be a connection between churches seeking musicians or other artists for special events worldwide.

If you are a ministry seeking musicians or performers, feel free to ask for help.

If you are a musician wishing to be available for weekend Services of Worship opportunities, inquire here.  High volume requests -- keyboard, guitar, percussion.

Vanetta Pinn

VOCAL INSTRUMENT

Vanetta is an operatically-trained vocalist who has sung with worship ensembles in Texas, California, Illinois and Brazil.  She specializes  in teaching singers techniques to match their unique vocal instrument  with Holy Spirit-guided improvisation in ensemble settings while guiding  congregations in song..

Our Brother,  Roshawn 'Aaron' Almon

Of the independent musicians who have served with Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries,  percussionist Aaron 'Rashawn' Almon truly embodied our vision of "theater missionary."

Aaron was introduced to us through his relationship with musical director Garlan Garner.  Aaron often accompanied Garlan and the choir at Bellevue Baptist Church.  Garlan introduced Aaron to us to give us more musical flexibility.

When not with Bellevue or KIT, Aaron was a high visible percussionist throughout the Chicagoland area.  He often played in jazz combos in night clubs accompanying respected singers, and was a fixture in many Chicago professional theater pit bands, notably at The Black Ensemble.

Aaron went home to The Lord in the fall of 2019 at age 59. Unexpected to us, however, he was not off guard as evidenced by his last Facebook post, a week before his passing, and his life story that he prepared for his funeral program. We are honored that Aaron mentioned his service with Kingdom Impact Theater among his performance credits, and to have discovered that in clubs and theaters where he played, he witnessed about KIT and The Lord in the mission field where God placed him.
